JibJab Halloween Video: Starring You!

JibJab, created and founded in 1999 by Gregg and Evan Spiridellis, are famous for their hilarious political animation parody videos. You may remember the Bush/Kerry classic This Land and other great viral videos such as Good to be in DC and Second Term. The comedic web animation house and video sharing site, based in Santa Monica, recently raised another $3 million in funding.

The JibJab brothers are back with something new. They’re now offering YOU a chance to star in a JibJab Halloween movie. The videos, entitled “Night of the Living Democrats” and “Night of the Living Republicans”, are comedic spins on the horror classic, “Night of the Living Dead”. All you need to do is upload a photo, cut out your head and you’re in the movie. It’s so easy even your mom and dad can do it! Warning: the video above contains explosions, destruction, ninjas, swords, decapitations, action and adventure.

Since launching “Starring You!” in August 2007, the JibJab audience has uploaded and cut out over 1 million heads and spent 10 million minutes (nearly 20 years) using the application. CNET’s News.com has dubbed it “The Greatest Office Time-Waster in History“.
