The follow-up to the hugely successful Cadbury’s Gorilla advert, ‘Trucks‘ by Fallon’s director Juan Cabral and Blink Productions, has been released online. The commercial wil air later today on TV. The music in the much-anticipated sequal is Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.

Very disappointing I think. The gorilla ad was a big success, but I can’t see it happening with this video. It’s not funny, it’s not clever…..really, what exactly is it?

There is no connection to the brand, nor the consumer - I mean, who cares about baggage handling trucks at the airport?

Poor effort if you ask me.

Though this ad is not very impressive, it certainly is apt thanks to the recent mishaps of Terminal 5.

Very disappointed…

Looks like someone was given too big of a budget to play with…and play they did. It’s not even entertaining in any way. I don’t think a viral does not need to be funny but then it at least needs to be entertaining.

Like Daan stated…not funny, not clever and not even entertaining.

Someone needs to get fired for this waste of money.

You often see that a second viral or sequel does not meet the expectations, so I agree with Daan very disappointing.

Perhaps it could get some attention, if we look at all the troubles the new Heatrow Terminal currently has…maybe that’s why more than 30.000 pieces of luggage are not released yet!

Terrible ad - looks like Fallon are going from heroes to zeros in one fell swoop
