Video Advertising Appearing in News Papers

Written by Marc Metekohy on August 23rd, 2009 | 5 comments

The first video-in-print advertising will be introduced this September. The video-in-print ads will appear in select copies of Entertainment Weekly. The slim-line screens – around the size of a mobile phone display – also have rechargeable batteries. The chip technology used to store the video – similar to the ones used in singing greeting cards – is activated when the page is turned. Each chip can hold up to 40 minutes of video. The first clips will preview programmes from US TV network CBS and show adverts by the drinks company Pepsi.

After online booking, e-ticketing and getting your boarding pass online, another nice feature to help you to make your trip even easier.

They do tend to judge new technologies or things that are new. Consumers paying for virtual goods are also a strange concept in their linear minds…

It’s a topic that was on my list for a while; sorry you had to miss out on this for so long. Digital consumers spend over $1.5 Billion on virtual items each year. Pets, coins, avatars, and bling: these virtual objects are nothing more than a series of pixels.

What could possibly possess people to spend real, hard earned cash on virtual objects that have no tangible substance?

Written by Nicole Niemann on August 17th, 2009 | no comments

A lot of brands are moving towards social marketing or are already active within social media. There are some brands you might expect to be present within social, like Adidas. And some brands at first may seem a bit awkward within the social space, like NASA. NASA is doing everything externally – not only with Web-facing portals, but also in our virtual worlds.
