We’ve seen some entertaining Guitar Hereo viral videos before, but now there’s Football Hero. The video features some freestyle football players, who play the Guitar Hero game, by kicking balls on coloured sensors, which correspond whit the game.
The technique behind the gigantic controller is called Arduino and it’s pretty awsome. (more…)
Google is one of the absolute leaders in the online world, so when Eric Schmidt makes predictions about the future people tend to take it a bit more seriously than your average fortune teller. At the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo Orlando 2009 he spoke of his vision on the internet and how it will evolve in the next 5 years.
We recommend you watch the full video for yourself, but below we will outline some of the key points.
For quite a few Star Wars fans, a dream has come true. They are getting a chance on 15 seconds of fame, literally, by recreating one of the Star Wars Movies.
On the Star Wars Uncut website the movie Star Wars: A New Hope had been cut into scenes of 15 seconds. Fans can claim these scenes (up to three in total) and film them using their own resources. In the end, the movie will consist entirely of user generated content.

The Fusion owner of the winning team will have their vehicle paid off, and team members will win free gas for one year.

We like to keep track of all the big brands to see how they are making the most of all the opportunities offered by social media and we like what we are seeing from Coca Cola. We have recently noticed Coca Cola making some very interesting moves in social media.
They are working closely with the two fans who set up the Coca Cola Facebook Fanpage, they have joined Twitter and now they have decided to run a year long social marketing program very similar to the Ford Fiesta Movement and Tuscany’s ground breaking social media strategy to put the region on the map.

For lingerie and bra’s we often see compelling ads. Sex still sells and Wonderba has treated us with some clever ones. Today we noticed a witty guerrilla campaign from the small Amsterdam based, fashion and lingerie boutique Je m’ Appelle Nikki: The Bra Scrap Scheme – Get € 7,50 back for your old bra.
Interested I read along and saw this statement by the store owner: “The car scrap scheme was invented to help the car industry through this recession. But this recession is not only harming the car sector, it is painful to the beautiful world of fashion and lingerie as well. So who ever said that the fashion and lingerie industries do not need any help too?”
Next the owner told: “Our bra scrap scheme has just been launched as a witty clone of the car scrap scheme. In our bra scrap scheme customers can collect a € 7,50 discount on their old bra, when buying a new one.
We hope to earn attention with this bra scrap campaign and to boost our sales. Off course we will give the old bra’s to a good cause.”
