Pinterest is one of the fastest growing social sites of this moment. The website has over 11 million users right now and is becoming more and more interesting for brands as well. So it should not take long before a brand claims Pinterest in their campaign.

Kotex claims to be the very first, but Peugeot already organized a Pinterest Puzzle game before. Although the game was a bit confusion to users, perhaps not a smart move for an automotive. The ‘Womens Inspiration Day by Kotex’ is an far more interesting campaign than Peugeot, as it’s a sort of influencer campaign as well.

A smart way to engage an audience on a specific sentiment, but the big question is: are you really aware of the new Subaru Impreza after experiencing ‘First Car Story‘?

What could possibly beat the success of Wordfeud? Perhaps DrawSomething, the drawing app, based on the principles of Wordfeud, or could it be this new exciting campaign for the new Scrabble Trickster.

Users of TwitterScrabble are challenged to write the highest scoring ScrabbleTweet from a set of 100 random characters. Once players are satisfied with their ScrabbleTweet, they post their entry to Twitter.

Facebook has finally started rolling out their new Timeline for brands. It’s a huge change to how businesses will use the platform and how target audiences will embrace it.

We already know what timeline is from our personal pages, interesting to see is what the substitute for Facebook tabs is, which are important for brands for engaging their fans.

Recently we mentioned the very first article on ViralBlog written by our founder Igor Beuker, who announced, after his subscription to MyFootballclub.co.uk, that he proudly became, along with 50,000 other fans, the club owner of Ebbsfleet United.

With its purchase, Igor helped MyFootballClub to become the first online community to fully run a professional sports club in history. The only thing that Igor cannot control, is the daily team management.
But guess what Igor! Mexico Second division club Murcielagos takes it even further! The club has no coach; instead…. the team is fully managed by its fans!

To promote Air China in Sweden, and highlight the fact that it flies not only to China but to destinations throughout Asia, Air China have been using restaurant check-ins on Facebook in a cool concept.

The airline created partnerships with a number of popular Asian restaurants in Sweden, to act as ambassadors for Air China. At each restaurant guests were encouraged to check-in with Air China on Facebook as they sat down to eat.
