Trailer: Audi A1 and Justin Timberlake

A while ago we told you about the Audi project for the new A1: a new car, targeting a new segment in a refreshing new way. Now, Audi is about to launch a short movie “The Next Best Thing”, featuring its ambassador Justin Timberlake. The popular car brand released a sneak peak trailer to the upcoming web-special.

Next to Justin, the film stars Dania Ramirez and, obviously, there is a leading role for the long anticipated new A1.

The film is presented in six episodes and the first episodes be available on the 4th of May on audi.com/a1. The trailer looks promising and according to Audi we better be prepared.. I know I am.

Zwitsal Listens To Fans With ‘Go Baby’

Here in Holland, we all grew up with Zwitsal baby care products. We all know the distinct yellow and orange logo. And even more recognizable is the famous Zwitsal scent. Shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, soap: it’s all got that distinctive smell that we love.

In Hyves, Holland’s largest social network, Zwitsal is one of the more popular brands, with an own community and very active fan base. Now the Dutch brand is introducing its latest product Eau de Zwitsal, exclusively to its Hyves fans, a month before the official release with the campaign ‘Go Baby’.

But what is even more cool is that Zwitsal decided on introducing this new product by popular demand from its fans. How did that come about?

Hubbies Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have already proven to be social media savvy and now they are using social media to gain awareness for child slavery.

Demi and Ashton launched their The DNA Foundation on January 25, 2010 and their aim is to eliminate child slavery, world wide. In an exclusive interview with Mashable, the famous Hollywood couple explains how they want to raise awareness about child slavery in Haiti now. And how they want to achieve just that.

Lady Gaga & Beyonce In YouTube Hit Telephone

Lady Gaga’s video for Bad Romance got over 150 million views, making it one of the most popular music videos in YouTube history. Now, the pop star teamed up with Beyonce and they are well on their way to obtaining the next YouTube Hit: almost 18 million views in less than 5 days.

The video takes over 9 minutes and can only be described as short film shock doc and definitely NSFW. Haven’t seen it yet? Watch the full version after the break.

Philips Cinema Presents Parallel Lines

Last year, Philips stunned us with the short film Caroussel. Now Philips Cinema is releasing a new campaign: Parallel lines:

The video is a teaser film for the upcoming campaign, which will launch at April 7th. Philips invited five directors from the Ridley Scott Association to create five short films in different genres: drama, action, animation, science fiction and thriller.

NASA Let’s You Be An Astronaut

The Muppets Did It Again: Beaker’s Ballad

First there was Bohemian Rhapsody and now the Muppets did it again. They are conquering the Internet with a viral video, this time it’s Beaker mee-ing along to ‘ Dust In The Wind’. As Beaker is performing behind his computer, the comments of YouTube viewers are popping up directly and all over the video. ‘Disasterpiece’, ‘Worst vid on here’ and ‘FAIL’ are just some of the comments that make poor Beaker totally frustrated.

The video was created by MuppetStudio, which is now part of Disney. Just a few months ago, in November, with the release of Bohemian Rhapsody, we wrote an article on the Muppets and how Disney was trying to reintroduce the old time favorite puppets. I think we can all agree that the The Muppets have proven to really understand the Internet

We’re All Fans – The Grammys Go Social

Sunday, CBS broadcast the 52nd annual Grammy Awards. This year, Recording Academy, responsible for the organisation of the grand event, embraced social media in their efforts to promote the Grammys. In order to do so, they launched the campaign “We’re all fans” to engage and involve fans.

Last week, previous to the event, Mashable’s Christina Warren posted an interview with Even Greene, the Chief Marketing Officer of the Recording Academy about social media and the Academy wanted to get involved in social media, if done correctly. Now, two days after the event, the web is buzzing with articles on the Grammys going social. And did they succeed?

Nike True City iPhone App

Last week, Nike Sportswear released Nike True City: an iPhone app that provides unique insights into the six European cities London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam, and Barcelona. The new app tells you exactly where it all happens in any of these city and the accompanying video stunningly shows how the app works:

RayBan – Guy Has Glasses Tattooed On His Face

In the past, RayBan has been rather successful when it comes to viral videos. Yesterday, RayBan released their latest video: “Guy Has Glasses Tattooed On His Face”
