Cities On Facebook – Is Your City On Facebook?
The Amsterdam Tourist Board has made a smart move to create their own Facebook-account on Amsterdam. The Facebook account has been growing enormously within a couple of months, already reaching almost 150.000 fans.
The Facebook fans interact with the page quite frequently replying on postings done by the Amsterdam Tourist Board.
The postings are quire diverse and go into the current weather up till tips for both citizens as tourists. Amsterdam is among other big European cities when it comes to a Facebook page London, Barcelona, but Paris leads with over 1 mln. fans and even surpassed NYC.
Interacting with your citizens and visitors, I can only recommend it.
