Facebook: An Advertising Platform

Yesterday Facebook launched a new website, Facebook Studios, aimed at promoting Facebook as a platform for advertisers. Facebook Studios offers advertisers a clear view of what the possibilities are for an advertiser on Facebook.

Facebook describes Facebook Studio as a place to learn, share work and find inspiration. They have created Facebook Studio as a way to showcase how agencies and marketers can make an impact by marketing with Facebook. It is a great way to find creative ideas from around the world.  More importantly, it gives you all the resources needed to find answers and create your own campaigns.

The Facebook Studio shows us a great overview of recently uploaded campaigns. You can select campaigns by region, language, what your friends and peers say, most liked and most shared.

Facebook will also reward the best campaigns with a Facebook award. In order for your campaign to be eligible for a Facebook award, you need to submit your best work to the Facebook Studio.

To be up to date and understand all the latest tools created by Facebook, the Learning Lab has been provided. Not only new tools get explained but also existing tool like Facebook Pages and Facebook ad’s are mentioned.

Facebook Studio is a great platform that will help all of us create high quality social media campaigns, which is also in the interest of Facebook. Who wants to run social media campaigns on a platform filled with poor quality? Clearly not Facebook.  Helping agencies and marketers is a great decision, which should have been taken a couple of years ago!
