Oceanic Air: The Airline That Gets You Lost?
Lost fans know: never fly on Oceanic Air. Their planes seem to crash on islands inhabited with murderous doctors, weird experiments, and supernatural powers. ABC went viral with Oceanic Air and turned the mysterious fictional airline into a “real” company with a “real” website – and produced billboards to promote it.

Lost has an extremely loyal fan base that tracks all kinds of details and facts about the complicated drama. The advertisers have also been very creative in marketing the show….even distributing bottles with Lost maps inside on California beaches.
Lost is finally winding down its television run – only 18 episodes remain to smooth out the confusing stories, love triangles and rectangles, and time traveling. Continue reading about Oceanic Air and Lost.

I really love the Lost series and the way ABC makes it all very ‘real’. I can imagine that if you’d come across these ads it adds great value to the experience of watching the series.

We also introduced Lost in the Netherlands for Net5 / SBS6 in 2004. We created a few movie trailers and seeded them into film freaks, blogs, fora and communities .. it spread like fire.
