Why You Should Care

Mobile marketing gives marketers access to a captive audience in a hyper-targeted way. It produces more immediate responses, and a higher response rate, than any other marketing method ever seen before. The mobile marketing tsunami is changing the dynamic of every element of marketing.

Everything will be touched.

Mobile Marketing Statistics 11 Incredible Mobile Marketing Statistics

Marketing executives need to start prioritizing mobile marketing in their budget right now. That doesn’t mean devoting 1% of a budget to mobile. It means devoting significant resources to developing mobile properties and mobile presence. The mobile rules for PPC, SEO and optimization are different.  This may require hiring new staff or an outside firm.

To start conservatively, consider a mobile landing page or a mobile text-back campaign. Or, if you want to be more aggressive, you could develop a website or an app.

Marketers should view mobile with excitement. There is an opportunity in the mobile marketing world that is almost too great to imagine. Consumers respond to mobile marketing in a staggering way. Response rates to mobile marketing are unparalleled in any marketing channel of which I’m aware.

Trust me, get out in front of this wave of mobile marketing or you will be swept away by it.

Very interesting. Have a question though. Do all marketing advertising types (product-types) work better on mobile compared to traditional?

    For instance:

I can understand this going for, lets say, restaurant searches. But will it also work for searching for a new car to buy?

This is great information! I work for a company that creates mobile websites and mobile apps that are bringing the cost down for small businesses to take part in mobile marketing and ‘Catch the wave’! I hope you wouldn’t mind if I quote you! Have a great day!

These are some great facts! Can’t believe that more people own a mobile phone on the earth than a toothbrush!

The statistics in the article speak for itself. I’m still blown away that more than 5 billion people have a mobile device that is by their side 24 hours a day.

There is so much opportunity and new strategies being devised every moment to capture this gigantic market tat I really don’t know why there are people that are actually saying that mobile is dead.

It’s just beginning and with new technology this kind of marketing will be where it is at. Thanks for the article and stats because it just confirms to me that building mobile marketing lists via web to text and also using short codes to capture offline customers, is effective now and will be into the future.

Mobile marketing is extremely powerful. Yes twice as many people now use their mobile phones versus their PC each day, so there’s a much larger audience to reach (more money to be made.) But there are also many different methods of mobile marketing to cater to different people’s preferences, allowing you to appeal to a larger percentage of that bigger market. Basically, with mobile marketing you can do much more with much less…a marketer’s dream. I have more mobile marketing tips on my site http://www.youaccomplish.com.
