ANDY Awards Give Power To The People
2010 ANDY Awards is taking a social media approach and give power to the people. Social media is a big trend right now, so why don’t let the audience decide who’s going to judge the work they have created themselves.

The ANDY Awards is an international competition to honor creativity worldwide given by the Advertising Club of New York.
The ANDY Awards covers print, radio, television, out-of-home, direct mail, video/cinema, interactive and other media and the winners compete for the ANDY Awards’ highest honor, The GRANDY.
This year, led by JWT’s Ty Montague and Michael Lebowitz from Big Spaceship, ANDY Awards has decided to give power to the people and have turn to the international advertising community to elect the 2010 award jury.
The next few weeks you can go to electthejury.com and vote for 5 of the already nominees candidate from a list of more than 100 candidates from around the world.
It’s also possible to nominate other candidates before October 15 – so hurry up! The final list of 25 jurors will then be announced on December 1.
With a lot of names up till now, where many of them are not coming from the ad industry, it might be really interesting to see the final jury list.
