Pharrell Releases The World’s First 24 Hour Music Video
Singer-songwriter Pharrell has released the world’s “first 24 hour music video” for his hit song “Happy”.
The video is launched on a special website where you can literally listen to the song for 24 hours along with 24 hours of video footage.
The website encourages you to share specific moments of the video on Facebook or Twitter.
A comment button shows you comments of visitors, which are generated by Tweets.
Pharrell Williams is one of the most multitalented persons that I know.
He’s is known as a singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, fashion designer, and drummer. Perhaps now we can add ‘great Art Director’ to that?
The credits button on the website actually tell us that Pharrel had the help of We are from LA, the agency that was also responsible for Evian’s Dancing With My Baby-me video.
In my opinion Pharrell reinvents himself which each track he releases. This video concept fuels that fact even more.
What About You?
Do you like the concept? What do you think we can learn from it?
