The Muppets have made a comeback with Bohemian Rhapsody, the biggest hit from the band Queen. This did not go by unnoticed: more than 3 million people have seen the video within a couple of days.

Although the lyrics have been slightly altered, the similarities with the original Queen video are pretty clear.

In the video, more than 40 Muppets are shown, reenacting the original scenes in their own way. Of course, there are special appearances for some prominent Muppets, including Kermit and Miss Piggy, albeit at the end of the clip.
The reason for making the tribute was the memory of singer Freddy Mercury, who died 18 years ago this November 24th. The video was created by Disney Studios, which acquired The Muppets from Jim Henson five years ago. Disney had been thinking how to bring the Muppets back into life, as most fans of these hilarious creatures are from a different generation. In 2008 Disney had made an attempt by creating footage that combined aspects of the old television show and new elements like computer screens. But looking at the number of views this video has counted, the problems of reintroducing the Muppets have been instantly solved!
Together with the video comes a YouTube channel and a Twitter-account, created just a few days ago and already immensely popular.
