FIFA, the computer football game since 1993, is about to release its 2010 version. EA Sports called in Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam to make this anthem spot, which debuts this weekend during the Manchester City v Manchester United match.

In the video you’ll see famed footballers such as Wayne Rooney, Karim Benzema, Xavi, Theo Walcott, Tim Cahill and Bastian Schweinsteiger amongst others as they group up with fans across the globe.

Within the advert the question is posed to the user of “How Big Can Football Get?” This is based around the overwhelming statistics gathered from gamers across the globe, racking up hours upon hours of playtime within previous FIFA titles. The How Big Can Football Get campaign was inspired by the massive FIFA game play figures ( EA says two million FIFA games are played daily) and will include web films, an online football community, a documentary and other elements.
