Is The Future Of Online Video 360 Degrees?

Whilst the temperature outside is below zero degrees online things are gearing up for 360 degrees online video. Doritos were the first to make a major splash with the technology and it’s gathering momentum.

The technology is being pioneered by fellow Dutchmen from a company called Yellowbird. This video allows the viewer to get the 360 degrees treatment on snowy slopes and the result is very, very impressive indeed. See the aweseome video below.

So far the applications of this have been impressive, but mainly from a visual perspective. We wonder if we will soon start to see practical applications of the technology.
