Luis Figo Stars In Movie About Second Life
Soccer star Luis Figo stars in a new movie about virtual community Second Life. The movie will be launched in Portuguese cinemas at 29 January 2009. See the teasing movie trailer here…
The movie was created by Utopia Films from Portugal. Since I’m Figo fan and feel the movie trailer is full of tension and erotic scenes, I hope the movie will be a big success. But I’m not yet convinced, the film will become a huge Box Office hit….
I liked the trailer and the making of teaser. More info about the movie can be found here. I would like to know more about the seeding and tracking of this movie trailer.
To our community: do you feel the movie will be a great success? To our friends from Portugal, if you’ve seen the movie in the cinema, please let us know how you rated it!

Are you sure this movie is about the virtual community Second Life?I see nothing indicating it, other than sharing the same name.
FYI, this movie has absolutely nothing to do with Second Life, its vibrant online community, virtual worlds, or anything like that. As a matter of fact, Utopia Filmes representatives were not even aware of the virtual world of the same name when they launched the movie.
Not surprisingly, however, they learned about it later on, as several people asked them if the movie “Second Life” would be launched inside Second Life as well
… you can imagine the confusion. Utopia Filmes, however, are now well aware of Second Life and might use it in an upcoming movie featuring the way social networking has been intruding in our real lives more and more.
