It’s not yet Viral Friday, but here is another viral video we came across: Social Media Addicts Association Meeting for Sony Vaio. Are you freaked-out by Facebook? Is Twitter twisting your mind? It might be time to say no to social media and join the SMAA!

The video illustrates a get-together of social media addicts, some pretty far gone, some still in denial. The video was uploaded to YouTube just yesterday, so we are curious to see what it will do.

The viral comes along with the website Stopwritingonmywall, which holds all the elements for kicking your habit including a five step plan:

1. Admit you have a problem, but don’t tweet about it
2. Accept that you don’t need up votes to feel validated
3. Understand the risks of poking strangers
4. Repeat after me: “Twitter and alcohol don’t mix”.
5. Don’t go cold turkey! Just delete one friend a day

According to the website, the association was founded by Jerry, a former social media addict, to help people beat their addiction to social networking sites and reclaim their lives.

The website offers several possibilities for addicts to pursue kicking their habit: watch confessions by other addicts or upload your own. And you can order a T-Shirt that says ‘Unfollow’, which can actually be purchased, as well as some others T-Shirt headings.

But if you not ready to give up your Facebook ór Twitter account or you simply fail to kick the habit, there is always the Sony Vaio W Series. A perfect laptop for social media addicts.
