@Bas Brand engagement? To show that H&M understands it main target group'sbehavior? To share the mutual feeling of fashion lovers? To drive retail sales? Don't think H&M is looking for designers or store builders. I think H&Mhas understood the behavior of its clients very well. Same as why Ikea is doingfurniture in Habbo Hotel. If brands want to reach and engage consumers likethis, no need to do another shouting print ad in a newspaper or billboard. Theseteens spend 50 hours or more per month online.. That's were you can engage themby inviting them to participate. Cheers

The question is, what's the main purpose. I like the idea, but what's the goal? And are they using is fully? Are they for example looking for people that aregood designers and trying to hire them? Or good store builders, etc?

@ Roland Had not heard of four eyed monster.. now I have :-) Thanks

LOL...nice. I just wrote about something similar to this. Have you heard of FourEyed Monsters? It's an indie flick about a couple hooking up via the Internet. They screened their film in Second Life. Avatars shuffled into a virtualtheater, while in the real world they could converse with the filmmakers aboutthe movie. Susan Buice, one of the movie's stars, said it was her favoriteshowing. Good stuff.
