We all know that new media is growing at a much faster pace than old media businesses.

I thought it would be interesting to see just how this is affecting the media and technology billionaires.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin from Google are not doing bad either.

How about Reid Hoffman? He’s doing pretty okay in the billionaire list.

My Opinion?
There will be more digital forces that will disrupt old business models.

We have seen in it the travel industry with i.e. Booking.com or Airbnb.

In the fashion industry with Zalando.

Disruption ain’t over yet, it has just started. We will see more surprising “outsiders” disrupting the marketplace.

I am convinced that even more media-companies will be masquerading as technology companies in the near future.
