Why The Bing For Schools Scroogled TVC Makes Me Sick?
In a new TV commercial, Microsoft Bing launches another anti-Google-campaign called Scroogled. Why this shameless self-promotion makes me sick?
The long-running rivalry between Microsoft and Google is turning into a schoolyard catfight. Microsoft is now bashing Google’s search ads: They should teach students wrong things.
It looks like Microsoft is pretty jealous that Bing is not selling any search ads? But how desperate and pathetic can a brand be?
The New Bing Scroogled TV Commercial
Have you seen this new Bing for Schools Scroogled TVC by Microsoft? Watch it here:
Like students that are studying the history of Mesopotamia would get confused by vitamin supplement ads on the right side?
If those students exist, they will probably get a job at Microsoft or Bing in a while. Not at Google, that’s for sure.
If you want to learn more, check Bing for Schools.
My Opinion?
Have you ever seen such a corny TV Commercial? It really makes me sick. Is this your example of showing your ‘corporate responsibility’ towards students?
I do hope that Microsoft stops its Bing bashing campaigns very soon. It’s truly becoming desperate and pathetic.
Bing, you have lost the battle for search years ago, so why not get over it?
