How Much Money Is In Google’s Wallet?

Google is one of the most successful organizations in the tech industry. In this story you can read all about the size of Google’s wallet, their revenues and how they spend it.

Google is initially known for its search engine. Ever since Google was first incorporated in 1998, its meteoric rise has set the standard for other tech companies in the Internet age, releasing several additional services such as Gmail and Maps.

Now one of the world’s most innovative companies called Google, has a constantly expanding list of software and hardware products, including Android, the world’s most-used smartphone platform.

Have a look on the below infographic to know more interesting facts about Google’s revenue and expenses and see how they reached a net revenue of $9,7 billion in 2011.

My opinion?
It’s amazing to see such profits when so many of the Google products are available free of charge. Apple wanted to ditch Google Maps in favor of its own mapping software the latest version of iOS.

We all know what happened… Steve Jobs claimed Google had stolen key features, and swore to destroy Android. But Google Maps is back on the iPhone since december 2012, even Apple adviced us to use Maps. Another free winner for Google!

What’s your opinon?
What do you think that Google will show us in 2013? Will they do another big acquisition, such as Motorola?

Fun, in your first line you call Google a tech company. One of the headers in your blog says: Google and Facebook are media companies masquerading as technology companies. Both might be true?
