That&#039;s a good question. I think that many clients are no viral specialists and rely on their agency to know what has been already out there and what not..

In my opinion an agency would try to be unique and innovative in it&#039;s creatives. 

On the other hand, some clients are really stuburn and overrule agencies&#039; ideas or remarks.

Our creative agency for example has clients that want a &quot;real compelling viral commercial&quot;. If we present some real cool ideas they bring the viral down to an average dull TV commercial that will never spread virally ... We warn them as specialists: this will not fly or spread. But then the clients says: who&#039;s paying the bills and who&#039;s the client here??!

Next the same client is disappointed in the reach and engagement of that same viral commercial..

Advertising will not always be easy ;-)
