Facebook Gears Up Social Ad Strategy?

But most large social networks and video portals reply poor if you do an advertising request per e-mail. Will these new players grab a large chunk of the online advertising budgets?
Will Facebook, MySpace and other social-networking sites transform advertising? Yes sir, says Mark Zuckerberg, who is 23 and the boss of Facebook, a popular social-networking website. “For the last hundred years media has been pushed out to people,” he said, “but now marketers are going to be a part of the conversation”. Using his firm’s new approach, he claimed, advertisers will be able to piggyback on the “social actions” of Facebook users, since “people influence people”.
Since Microsoft bought a 1.6% stake in Facebook for $240 Million, Zuckerberg’s social advertising strategy must make sense? Share us your thoughts about social advertising.
