I’m Ed from The Viral Factory. I was behind this film. Thanks for writing it up and being generous about it but i just wanted to point out that we did not seed through youtube. We knew that youtube would probably pull it down so we used a different site (break.com) as host and then seeded that embed. Have a look… http://www.break.com/index/sfw-porn-clips.html

The Youtube uploads where from other individuals and people who embeded these links where part of a natural viral effect and out of our control. Irritating but thats sometimes what happens when a film genuineley eplodes over a few weeks.

Just thought i’d set the record straight.

B) I’m SO glad you pointed the seeding issue out. This is exactly why you should make viral or social media efforts with a good company (not that viral factory isn’t), but I’m amazed they didn’t foresee the seeding issue. They missed out on ALL of the secondary seeds pushing the viral effect for their client. They had a GREAT video (for the purposes) that probably experienced 10% of the results it should have due to a simple seeding issue.

This viral commercial promotes a Diesel party! That is the relation. As you might know, Diesel throws great parties every now and then.. like Diesel U-Music and now this anniversary party.
