Dutch SpinAwards Announced With Viral Videos

A great creative case from Liechtenstein. Or is it? And haven’t we seen that idea somewhere before? The SpinAwards, the Dutch awards for creativity in digital media,is launching this year’s theme ‘Made in Holland’ with four great viral films. The creators gave ViralBlog the scoop for the first 2 videos, which you can see here!

Each film parodies a foreign ‘creative’, perfectly played by Dutch stand up comedian Horace Cohen. The creators of the videos got inspired by one of the recent winning cases at the SpinAwards.

Check out the first video called Download Kino, a parody of Upload Cinema. In this video we’re being welcomed to the future of advertising by a moustached man wearing lederhosen. He explains how he come up with his great idea for the “Faduss Kino”…whatever that may be :-)

The second video is called Neighbour Day, which is a great parody on Douwe Egberts Burendag. In this video Jeff Goldbaum, the Creative Director at Sterling-Coopers tells us how he came up with his great idea for StarBeans Coffee: “You say people, I say NEIGHBOOOURS!”

The SpinAwards needs your Dutch work desperately. So to all our Dutch readers:
