Oscars iPad Commercial

The first iPad television commercial went live during last nights Oscars.

The commercial is a 30-second spot which shows the iPad in use, and highlights many of the device’s built-in applications, including Photos, Maps, iTunes, iPod, Safari, Calendar, and Mail, along with iBooks, the iBookstore, and Pages. The commercial finishes with announcing the iPad’s launch date April 3rd. The commerical features the song “There Goes My Love” by the Danish The Blue Van, from its 2008 album “Man Up.

Apple also used the Academy Awards to air its first iPhone television commercial. Showing the commercial during the Oscars probably explains why Apple CEO Steve Jobs was spotted on the red carpet.

  I’m really looking forward how the sales of iPad will come out.

  If apple has success with this, pretty much i think they’ll have success with everything.
