PUMA’s Valentines Day Viral
It’s February and all you love birds out there know what that means – yup, Valentines Day is coming soon! Not being the most romantically inclined person it’s a day like any other to me.
But from a marketing point of view it is always interesting to keep an eye out to see what the big brands are doing. And this year PUMA have come up trumps with their Hardchorus campaign.
Their Youtube profile says: “They want to be in your arms. You want to be in the stands. What do you do when Valentines Day falls on game day?”
Well, obviously you sent them a video of a group of Danny Dyer wannabees singing Savage Garden’s Truly Madly Deeply
Of course the campaign also enables you to be truly romantic and be a modern day Romeo by wishing the love of your life a a happy Valentinesday by sending this video as an e-card via either Facebook or e-mail. Chicks dig that stuff
So far the video has amassed just over 35,000 views – but expect that number to start growing rapidly as we get nearer to the 14th and your friends realise they haven’t bought their girlfriend a present.

I’m pretty sure my girl will appreciate this
ahahah.. it looks that this kind of ads start to be like a trend. Personally i think they are not a good option, but that’s for sure that they are different and they’ll get attention. Now we have to wait and see, if male or female attention!

Stupid ad. The video should have been more creative as to convay the message. I am not sure how many hands it must have passed over. Dampner.
