Heineken is known for their nifty football match gadgets designed to make as much noise as possible and be a garment at the same time.

This new gadget, the ‘Pletterpet’, is introduced to the Germans in this video.

In the video we see a German press conference where all the previous Heineken gadgets make an appearance. The agency behind the video is TBWA\NEBOKO. The video itself is not particularly mindblowing but it’s funny in a cute kind of way. It got 67.007 views in 4 days.

It’s actually a follow up video to this one, which tells the story about how the hat came into existence. This video was uploaded on the same day and has 61.717 views until now.

In my opinion the video’s are quite safe and don’t make you go ‘OMG!’. Regarding the introduction video I can understand, because you want viewers to know what this new gadget is like and how and where they can get one of their own. But the follow up video could have been way funnier or more shocking. The German remedy is cleverly found but not hilarious. Though I understand why TBWA\NEBOKO picked Germany as the country most upset by the Pletterpet, I personally can’t wait for some shocking answers to Heineken’s new gadget by other countries. Does anyone have any ideas?
