ViralFriday

This week’s Viral Friday we made a special around ads shown during the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League and more than 100 million people are watching! The #1 position goes to Doritos – The Best Part. Watch how disgusting this mean acts for the taste of Doritos. The runner up spot is for Pepsi – Love Hurts. It certainly does in this video! Bud Light – Hack Job completes this week’s top 3 with an amazing renovation in somebody’s kitchen.

Do you want to see this week’s list from 1 to 5? Go on then, and have a look! We’d like to hear your opinion about the virals. Have fun!

Get our ViralBlog asset: the Viral Friday Widget! By default the widget shows you the latest Viral Friday, but it’ll also show you the seven most recent postings on ViralBlog.

Here we have a bunch of ‘cracking’ commercials by Doritos. The most watched and probably the most disturbing video is ‘The Best Part’. Two men, one preference. The video is up since January 31th and had 191K+ views. More than 2600 people voted where 90% liked the content. With this the brand did not only entertained the home audience during the Super Bowl, it emphasized the irresistible power of attraction for the snack by  at least men and dogs as well. Next to it, they claim that after having Doritos, you really feel reborn again!

2. Pepsi Max – Love Hurts

Ever had a can of Pepsi Max thrown at your head? Well, this girl definitely has! We all know love can be painful sometimes, but who knew a can of Pepsi Max could hurt too? For this year’s Superbowl PEPSI made this hilarious ad which currently has more than 1,6 million views on YouTube already! Check out these 2 funny ads by Pepsi too: “Torpedo Cooler” and “First Date”.  The 3 videos almost have 3,8 million views already on YouTube and can all be watched on the Crash The Superbowl YouTube channel.

3. Bud Light – Hack Job

Are you thinking about renovating your kitchen? Who told you that you need to spend lots of money on it? Here you have a cheap solution. A TV host brings a couple into their renovated kitchen. The only change was a bucket of Bud Light on the kitchen counter. After all life is about “simple” things no matter what you do. From work situations to dog sitter and product placement… here we go! Until now the “Hack Job” video has almost 1,5 million views, the other 3 commercials have achieved more than 1,7 million views.

4. Miss Evelyn – Chevy Camaro

As another automotive brand, Chevrolet comes with a series of Superbowl commercials as well. The first one features Miss Evelyn’s morning hard time to get to work. Hope none of you has to go through something like this every day and from now on you’ll enjoy a traffic jam. The following commercials show brave Chevy saving an annoying child Tommy, a successful first-base date end and a preview of product placement in the upcoming Transformers movie on the Chevrolet youtube channel. Enjoy!

5. Hyundai Elentra – Deprogramming

This acid-trippy Super Bowl Video stars the voice of Jeff Bridges who tries to hypnotize us for Hyundai. The whole thought behind it is that there is a conspiracy against compact cars and with this video we will be deprogrammed. You can read more about the ‘conspiracy’ here. The video did not get much positive comments but still got over a half a million views since february 2nd. And if you add the two other Super Bowl ads ‘Hypnotize‘ and ‘Anachronistic City‘, they got more than 1.5 million views extra for the Hyundai YouTube channel.
