1. Nike: Earl And Tiger Woods

Nike has stood by its marquee golf pro, while other brands dropped Woods as an endorser. Nike’s new ad with Tiger Woods titled “Earl and Tiger” features the voice of the golfer’s late father, Earl Woods. The ad was uploaded Wednesday morning on the Nike Golf YouTube channel and was aired on ESPN and the Golf Channel Thursday evening. It’s tone of sombre reflection will likely play well with audiences. The video has been viewed over 1.5 million times since it was uploaded 2 days ago.

2. Will It Blend? – iPad

The ‘Will It Blend’ video’s from Blendtec are always funny and shocking, in their latest one they blended a iPad. The video was uploaded 5 April on the Blendtec YouTube channel and is already viewed over 4.3 million times since! Even Blendtec is surprised by the success of their video, that they now made a iPackage Drawing where you can win a Blendtec Total Blender and the remains of the blended iPad or a new iPad.

3. Old Spice: Flex

After the ‘The Man Your Man Could Smell Like‘ commercial Old Spice and Wieden+Kennedy launched a series of 7 commercials, including the above for their Odor Blocker Body Wash, all to be found in the Old Spice YouTube channel. All videos are uploaded a week ago and view counts vary from around 170,000 to 1.1 million and add up to a total of almost 3.7 million views since the beginning of April.

4. Google Translate For Animals

Google’s Android platform is growing fast and everyday new apps appear in the market. Late March Google introduced its Translate for Animals application for Android, allowing the search giant to ‘encourage greater interaction and understanding between animal and human’. The promotional video got over 1 million views since 31 March and got coverage on influential sites like Engadget and TechRadar.

5. No Underwear Subway Ride 2010

We’ve seen Improv Everywhere on this blog before, and they wouldn’t be the jokers they are if they didn’t pull an April Fools’ stunt. Taking your pants off on a New York subway is not illegal as the Improv team have proved before, so now they decided to take it up a notch by having people remove their underwear as well and having them wear skin colored underwear underneath. By blurring out the underwear, it looked like people were wearing nothing at all. You can check the “uncensored” version here. The video has been viewed 859.213 times since April Fools’ Day.
