This weeks Viral Friday #1 position goes to Greg Pritchard’s Got Talent. So here we are again; another week, another Viral Friday, another Britain’s Got Talent video. His name is Greg Pritchard: he looks like a punk rocker, hates his job as a hotel waiter and describes himself as a “male soprano”. The runner up spot is for Make The Girl Dance: Baby Baby Baby. “Make The Girl Dance”, a French electro group, knew exactly what they wanted for they song called “Baby Baby Baby”: major publicity. This is the result. Mother Lover completes this week’s top 3. Last Sunday was Mother’s Day, so Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg did a special skit for all the mothers on Saturday Night Live.

1. Greg Pritchard’s Got Talent

So here we are again; another week, another Viral Friday, another Britain’s Got Talent video. His name is Greg Pritchard: he looks like a punk rocker, hates his job as a hotel waiter and describes himself as a “male soprano“. On stage Greg delivered a rendition of “Nessun Dorma“, the tenor aria that launched the career of Paul Potts, the first winner of Britain’s Got Talent. When his performance was over Cowell couldn’t resist and said “It’s like a dog meowing… it just shouldn’t do that”. Whether Greg has talent or tight pants, the audience gave him a standing ovation and all three judges voted Pritchard into the next round. Greg’s performance scores well over 4 million views on YouTube since it aired last Saturday.

2. Make The Girl Dance: Baby Baby Baby

Make The Girl Dance“, a French electro group, knew exactly what they wanted for they song called “Baby Baby Baby”: major publicity. So they opened the book of “get me a lot of free publicity, fast”, stopped reading at page one and created a video clip with naked girls in it. Brilliant! Make The Girl Dance proves the oldest trick still works as they got almost 1.7 million views on Dailymotion in just three days! The video also gives a great view of the rue Montorgueil in Paris on a regular Thursday.

3. Mother Lover

Last Sunday was Mother’s Day, so Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg did a special skit for all the mothers on Saturday Night Live. The Lonely Island spoof music video is called “Motherlover”. The Lonely Island scored viral hits before with the SNL Digital Shorts Lazy Sunday in 2005 and Dick in a Box in 2006. The video got over 1.3 million views on NBC, YouTube, Youku and MySpace.

4. Obama Jokes At Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Last Saturday the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner took place. The WHCA’s annual dinner, begun in 1920, has become a Washington, D.C. tradition and is usually attended by the President and Vice President. Cheney was not present, other well known were, including Sting, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Steven Spielberg and Jon Bon Jovi. Obama could not resist to crack jokes about the press corps, his Administration, his critics, and himself. The video got over 1 million YouTube views since it aired five days ago.

5. Rémi Gaillard: Diving

Rémi Gaillard, the French prankster know for Real Life Mario Kart and Pac Man, is back with a fresh stunt. In his latest video we see the Frenchman diving in a fish tank while carrying a harpoon. Very funny according to the many bystanders. The aquarium security thought different though and threw Gaillard out. The video scored around 800,000 views on YouTube, Dailymotion, MetaCafe and Yahoo! Video.
