1. Lady Gaga – Telephone
Lady Gaga is doing it again: her latest video is spreading the web like crazy! Her “Bad Romance” video is one of the most popular music video in YouTube history and now her latest hit “Telephone”, together with Beyonce, got over 20 million views in just one week’s time. The video takes over 9 minutes, is full of lingerie and nudity, sunglasses and impossible hairdos, and can only be described as short film shock doc and definitely NSFW. You haven’t seen it yet? 2. Chatroulette – Funny Piano Improv
Chatroulette; biggest hit and sewer of the internet at the same time, you gotta love it. This guy Merton posted a video on YouTube in which he does piano improvs for and about the people he sees on Chatroulette. And most of them are hilarious! Will the fact that he calls this video “Chat Roulette Funny Piano Improv #1″ mean there’s at least another one coming up? Let’s hope so! This one got over 2.5 million views since March 11.
3. Eduard Khil – Trololo
Soviet-singer Eduard Khil has become a surprise internet sensation after a video of him singing the lyric-less song “I Am so Happy to Finally Be Back Home” won legions of fans worldwide. The song, written in 1966 with lyrics about an American cowboy, has no words as a result of Soviet censorship. Although uploaded in November 2009, the video suddenly reached viral spread the first week of March 2010 and now has over 3 million views from all over the world.
4. The New Dork – Entrepreneur State Of Mind
The Social Media Revolution has cleared the way for Geeks, Dorks and Jerks: the past geeks are the future hotshots or the popular New Dorks. And The Pantless Knigts used exactly this as a starting point in their spoof of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys ‘Empire State of Mind’. The video is all about social and New Dorks taking over the web: blogosphere, Twitter, you name it. Within two weeks, the video got over 350.000 views. The guys behind the video are from Grasshoppers, who want to empower entrepreneurs with their virtual phone system.
5. Chicane – Come Back
The video above is the latest viral sensation on the Internet. It’s a brilliant, touching and hilarious story of one man’s efforts to win back the girl who left him. It features “Come Back,” the latest single from British dance act Chicane. And while it look like a fan-made video, it’s clearly an official video aiming for viral success as we wrote earlier.
The fact it was uploaded from his record company’s official account and the professional production values are somewhat unsubtle hints, we’d say, it’s a great video regardless. And we’re willing to bet it’s only a matter of time before someone makes a fan version and uses it to get their girlfriend back for real, anyway.

The piano improv is definitively my favourite!
The New Dork, my favorite of the week. It’s so true and well executed. I also just watched the documentary “we live in public” About Josh Harris, the internet pioneer who predicted it all! That may influence my decision
Although I’m not a fan of Lady Gaga’s tunes I must say I really enjoyed her short film (and must admit I watched it more than once…). It will not make me buy her music, but I am looking forward to the next episode.
