2. JCPenney: Speed Dressing
The above commercial looks like an ad for JCPenney, but it isn’t. It’s a fake commercial that won a bronze lion at the Cannes 2008 Film Festival. You’d say the clothing retailer would be happy with all the attention after all but they aren’t. Mike Boylson, chief marketing officer for JCPenney, says:”It’s obviously inappropriate and nothing we would ever condone. 3. Heinz Deli Mayo
Heinz has pulled a commercial featuring two men kissing each other and apologized to viewers after more than 200 complaints to the advertising watchdog. The ad for Deli Mayo was the first from AMV BBDO for Heinz since winning the advertising account from McCann Erickson. The ad has been pulled after less than a week on air after viewers complained to the Advertising Standards Authority that it was “offensive” and “inappropriate to see two men kissing”. Swiss professional tennis player Rodger Federer is to star in a TV ad that reveals the secret of his success: ‘The Coach’. The commercial features comedian Rhys Darby, who plays Murray the band manager in cult HBO comedy show Flight of the Conchords, which airs on BBC Four in the UK. To promote the new Toyota Aygo in Belgium the Japanese car manufacturer launched Car Dance Party, an hilarious concept by advertising agency Happiness Brussels in collaboration with Studio Brussel. On the website www.cardanceparty.be/ Belgian dance duo’s can download the Car Dance Party tune and upload their version of a Car Dance Party.
7. Be Kanye West
Rap artist and hip hop producer Kanye West stars in a new viral campaign for Absolut Vodka. In the 60 second infomercial the singer promotes the “Be Kanye” drug, which will transform you into Kanye. According to the video, which can be found on bekanyenow.com, users have to take several side effects, like “awesomeness”, “increased appeal” and “heightened sense of style and rhythm”, into account. The site features just very subtle references to the vodka brand, like “Ordering Be Kanye was the ABSOLUT best thing I’ve ever done for myself”. (Source: Exposay)

10. Ajax Shirt Swap Action On Leidseplein
AFC Ajax, the professional football club from Amsterdam, Netherlands, has a new sponsor; Aegon. To introduce their new outfit they organized a shirt exchange on a square in Amsterdam. Within several minutes about 200 shirts found a new owner.
