1. Shii – The Wii For Women
We all know the Wii and the huge amount of fun one can have playing with it and now, especially for woman, Belgian comedy show M!LF (Man! Liberation Front) introduced the Shii. The Shii is an interactive game console witch features games like Steamy Iron II, Kitchen Queens, Shave Invaders, Extreme Knitting IV and Suckend Life. The sketch is a huge internet success with over 2.5 million views on YouTube, Dailymotion and MetaCafe.
2. The Search For Mary
The Belgians have a TV show called “Op zoek naar Maria” (the search for Mary) in which contestants can win the main part in the musical version of “The Sound Of Music“. To gain some publicity the producers carefully watched Improv Everywhere’s Frozen Grand Central and T-Mobile’s Dance flashmobs and mixed things up a bit. With six duplicates the video over 1.7 million views since March 23. Also available is a behind the scenes video.
3. Stop Domestic Violence
Women’s Aid, the Britain’s national domestic violence charity that works to end violence against women and children, released this shocking new short film, directed by Atonement and Pride & Prejudice director Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley. The ad was made by advertising agency Grey London. “I wanted to take part in this advert for Women’s Aid because while domestic violence exists in every section of society we rarely hear about it,” said Knightley. “Domestic violence affects one in four women at some point in their lifetime and kills two women every week.”

4. Best Funeral Ever
What if your loved one that just passed away doesn’t have many friends? The funeral will be a small one. 30 Improv Everywhere agents showed up at a random funeral they found in the obituary section of the newspaper. They picked a man who had very few surviving relatives and then showed up to his funeral to make it truly awesome. Watch the video and see how it all happened. The video got almost 550.000 views since March 31 and over 5.000 people left a comment on YouTube. Oh, and the whole thing is a fake, everyone is an actor. April Fool’s Day 2009. Read the whole story on the Improv Everywhere site.
5. Laptop Hunters: Giampaolo
Earlier CP+B made the “Lauren” ad for Microsoft. Lauren had to buy a laptop for under $999 and obviously ended up with a Windows laptop because Macs are more expensive than PCs. Gadget blog Gizmodo got an email from one of their readers who was willing to give her his 17″ Mac laptop for free. The big question is; is there someone else willing to give their Mac to Giampaolo, Microsofts new Laptop Hunter? Giampaolo’s hunt for the perfect laptop got over 466.000 views since April 2.
