The Midnight Switch

Summer and vacations are around the corner and many are looking forward to spend great time with their families and friends somewhere in the nature, by seaside or so.

Just to relax, enjoy free time and get tanned. Well, sunbathing can be great but also dangerous. And to spread awareness about the negative effects of sunbathing here’s a great viral case from Belgium – The Midnight Switch: A Boyfriend’s Worst Nightmare.

The Foundation Against Cancer wanted to spread awareness about the negatives of sunbathing. And they came with a nice concept how to communicate the message. Even though the Belgian girls might know about the dangers, the Foundation Against Cancer targeted their boyfriends and gave them a biggest surprise of their lifetimes. So far.

So first they flew five Belgian couples to a sunny destination, they spent some nice time together. Later in the night, while the guys were asleep their girlfriends sneaked out of the rooms and their moms took their spots. What happened next? See the video below…

Well personally after such experience I’d remember to remind my girlfriend about the dangers of Sun even on a rainy day…

The message that the less you protect yourself against the sun, the faster your skin will age is eminent and with more than 670,000 views within a week it got spread all around. Check also the “making of video”.
