With Dash consumers van simply say what products they need. Or scan the products they want to re-order. Just add items to your shopping list anywhere in your home.
Dash connects to your home Wi-Fi network and works directly with your AmazonFresh account.
Say or scan items into your Dash, and then view the list on your desktop or mobile device to purchase and schedule delivery.
If you forget an item? No worries. Dash will remember the items for you.
My Opinion
With Dash Amazon is again changing the rules in the marketplace. Bezos often misunderstood, is again showing us that he is the ultimate mastermind.
For decades retailers have been pushing their products in door-to-door folders, in newspapers or billbaords. So far, no consumer in the world could immediately buy the products that their eyes had just seen. I call it no-commerce. Dead-end marketing.
I like Dash so much because it empowers instant satisfaction: See, Like, Buy. Closing the loop in marketing!
We all have been talking about the endless possibilities of Apple Siri. But so far, Siri has been nothing more than the dumbest PA in the world. The bitch hardly ever understands your needs, right?
To me Dash is the ultimate example of a clever, disruptive innovation. It makes e-commerce smart, slick and easy. And it’s adding usefulness to Amazon customers.
Dash also fuels Amazon’s brand values in a superb way. That’s how straightforward brand marketing can be my dear CMOs.
