There’s so much out there about Instagram these days, much much more than has been heard for a couple of months. And these are not just some “regular” news.
First the long-awaited Android app was finally released in the beginning of April and was downloaded more than 5 million times in six days. In the beginning of this week another news was announced: Facebook bought Instagram for $1 billion.
Instagram for Android is currently the third most popular free app on Google Play and the most popular app that isn’t made by Google.
The photo-sharing startup has a brief but explosive history, from launch in November 2010 to its recent acquisition by Facebook.
