Social Media Is Dead

That is quite the statement, but when it comes from an industry vet like David Armano you can’t help but take notice. Armano is SVP of Digital at Edelman, but most people will know him from his graphical representations of social media and business models.

Social Media Is Dead: Long Live Common Sense.

View more presentations from David Armano.

It’s a visually stunning presentation that breaks down social media into various pieces that effect organisations. Particularly the latter slides that deal with internal organisational shifts are very interesting.

His common sense rings very true and is very similar to what we recommened to our clients. The process always starts with listening, from where you can move onto assessment, engagement and than measurement and finally improvement.

In essence he shows that all social media activity is a continuous learning curve which will helps brands constantly look to improve their performance through measurement of their activities.

Well worth checking out.
