My Opinion

The launch and success of Vine are still fresh in my memory. Also the Twitter IPO was a milestone to many people in our industry.

The Facebook offer for Snapchat was a shock to most of us, especially the $3 billion bid surprised most of us.

Facebook however might encounter a tough year in 2014, since screenagers are leaving the platform to avoid their socializing parents.

Good old YouTube keeps growing along with the ever growing trend called social video and I expect the best year yet for Google’s video platform in 2014.

The Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin hype in 2013 was even more surprising to me and many of my peers.

I was a bit disappointed about the lack of stunning formats from the social TV and social games industries in 2013. But I trust they will rock our socks off in 2014.
