When Design, Football And Advertising Agencies Get Together
The World Cup is long over, but he football fever is still very much alive and that has resulted in some really awesome designs…
Bruno Leo Ribeiro, an art director from Rio de Janeiro, has recently launched a cool Tumblr page called Advertising FC.
This Tumblr shows Bruno’s own version of a football club featuring jerseys and kits specially designed for some of the major advertising agencies.
Bruno loves football and he also loves design, art direction. So why not advertising?
He got those 3 elements and had this idea to imagine how advertising agencies football kit would look.

Ribeiro has designed 17 jerseys so far. “All creatives are constantly thinking,” Ribeiro said. “I was just having some fun with it and wanted to keep practicing.”

My Opinion?
If you’ve read my articles before, you know that I’m a big football fan. Besides winning the famous Dutch advertising tournament ‘Lieverdjestoernooi’ 2 times (and 2 times runner up), we were also very proud of our AS Roma jerseys!
It’s great to see passion for football being translated into these designs. Great job Bruno!
