Which Crowdsourced Ad Will Pornhub Use In US Campaign?

Back in March, porn video sharing website Pornhub announced their first US advertising campaign, and asked its public for help in making the ads. Take a look at the 15 clever finalists. Which one will it be?


 So, what is the Pornhub campaign all about?

Pornhub announced in March they were about to launch their first national (American) advertising campaign. But they weren’t exactly sure what the contents would be: cue the open contest!

They asked the nation to provide them with possible ads. The winning ad will be featured in magazines, on TV, and on the web. Plus, the designer of the winning ad will become the company’s creative director for a year.

Last week the company announced the 15 winning finalists. The winner will be chosen by the public by voting. Let’s take a look at some of my favorites:

My Opinion

I think this campaign and contest are perfect. Pornhub would obviously not exist without the help of its public because, well, it basically solely consists of crowdsourced content.

Giving visitors and fans a chance to work for Pornhub is a smart move because these are the people that know the website and what it’s all about best. That doesn’t just go for Pornhub of course, it’s a smart strategy for every company.

Giving fans the opportunity to create content and work for the company they think is awesome, will create brand ambassadors for life.

I’m curious to see which ad will win, because a few of the 15 finalists definitely are clever.
