1. A Day In The Life
Not so long ago Samsung released their much anticipated new Galaxy phone, the Samsung Galaxy S III. This viral shows all the features of the phone. And there are a lot! These features have caused Apple to sue Samsung, they are trying to ban the Galaxy S III in the USA because the features were too similar to the Apple features. Nevertheless the viral has become a hit with more than 1,5 million views since the 31st of may.
2. Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders
The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders were shooting their 2013 swimsuit calendar in the Dominican Republic when they decided to have a little fun and make a cover of “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae. The result was a huge hit with over 2 million views in 3 days time! About a month ago the boys of the Harvard Baseball team did the same thing, view the video here. Their video had 12 million views within a month. Will the cheerleaders beat them? We’ll just have to wait and see.
3. Naptime!
This is for those parents who do not have a clue what to do when their child is being annoying or unmanageable. Naptime is the, hopefully, fake commercial in which a cure for all those horrible kids is being presented. In a week, it has amused more than 500.000 desperate parents and other viewers. Watch the video to understand how taboo subjects can make your video become viral like this.
4. Go Pro: New York City
How to better promote the new GoPro camera than letting the young Ryan Sheckler share his ideas on his skateboard? The video got more than 350.000 views in a week, mostly thanks to using a celebrity. Check out the video and let Ryan take you through the city on his skateboard with several cameras filming on every corner.
5. The Light Is Your Friend
Every year the commercials for the 2012 Young Director Awards keep getting better. This years spot is all about parents’ greatest fear: Private mommy-daddy time being interrupted by a child. The commercial’s tagline is “directing, it’s in your bones.” So the little boy is not a pervert. He’s just a film director in the making! The video got coverage on The Huffington Post and a lot of blogs. No wonder it got almost 200.000 views in just one week.
