2. Remi Gaillard: Tour De France
Remi Gaillard has a reputation for giving people a hard time and has become very popular in doing so. His latest video has already generated over 506,000 views. Gaillard is seen playing a prank on three cyclists. He set up a huge crowd and a finish line, tricking the cyclists into thinking they are participating in the Tour de France. Journalists, a trophy and cups of water give the prank an even more realistic touch. Needless to say, the ‘racers’ could not find the words to comment on their achievement…
3. Halo 3: ODST Live Action Trailer
Bungie Software and Microsoft have been releasing gameplay trailers for the Halo 3: Orbital Drop Ship Troopers prequel at the conventions throughout the year, but now that ODST is dropping on 22 September, T.A.G ad agency in San Francisco has created another epic film for Halo 3. The trailer got over 350,000 views on YouTube since 4 September along with 3,377 ratings, 5,936 favourites and 1,527 comments. All in just one week.
4. YouTube Vs Blur Mashup
The insane above video was made to promote the new “Blur” Game, released by Bizarre Creations through Activision. Blur is a energized racing game where you are racing a car and fight some other participants in a really bad mood. This video stands out because no cameras were used for this production, instead they have been digging after all the famous internet clips and created a mash up viral to show how great and brilliant the new Blur game will be. The video was uploaded on YouTube August 28th and has already generated more than 300,000 views, which really shows how the brilliant thinking in this video.
5. Google Street View Privacy
In this video from Google Japan explains how their Street View service works, and how Street View deals with privacy. Although the video is in Japanese it’s easy viewing for all nationalities. The Google Street View car snaps pictures as it goes, and then takes them back to its workshop, where they are scanned. Identifiable information is blurred out, and all is well. The video is live since 1 September but large amount of views started to come in when the video got embedded on Boing Boing on 8 September.
