1. McFly’s Closet
Nike recently launched a new campaign called Back for the Future. 1.500 shoes are being auctioned and the money goes to The Micheal J. Fox Foundation dedicated to Parkinsons desease. On September 6th Doctor Emmett Brown gave us a peek into his wardrobe and Since then Marty McFly Shoes received over a million views. Check back4thefuture.com for the shoes and other video’s.
2. Freddie Mercury Google Doodle
There’s no need to introduce the legendary artist Freddie Mercury. The tribute to his 65th birthday celebration by Google sky-rocketed with more than 1.1 million views since September 4th. Also check out more tribute videos by Katy Perry, Billy Corgan and the official one on Queen’s YouTube channel. Happy Birthday Freddie!
3. Find Makarov: Operation Kingfish
With this video we need to apologize. Apologize to the viewers who don’t like violence. But on the other hand, we have to show you this one. It’s a new teaser for Activision’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. This game will blossom like a plague. The fan-base (yes hundreds of millions) are waiting so long for this one. But will it conquer the competition? Don’t know! What we do know that the fans of both games will get the best out of it! The video is up since Sept. 3 and generated already 631,000 views! Game on!
4. Slavery The Game
The trailer for the new game “The Slavery” shows how gamers can trade their slaves, conquer countries and of course torture them. Fortunately, the trailer turns out to be a viral video with more than 444.000 views, drawing attention to the new television series of NTR, “De Slavernij’. The series is going to be on air from autumn 2011 and will focus on the most silent part of the Dutch history, it’s role in slavery.
5. Secret Clooney Commercial
Spoof ad features a George Clooney lookalike and puts Nescafé’s Nespresso brand on the hot seat. The video makes it clear Nescafé isn’t using fair trade coffee and are exploiting coffee pickers. The organisation behind the ad is non-profit Solidar Suisse, they are aiming to get Nescafe committed on the use of fair trade coffees. The video went viral after a couple of days and currently has over 112.000 video views. Nescafe wasn’t ready to sit back and take the hit, the PR department aggressively answered the campaign of Solidar Suisse.
