1. Smart Trashbox
A Japanese inventor was probably fed up with stuff littering his floor, or he just had a very bad aim. The inventor in question created a very smart, moving trashcan from scratch. Made with a hacked Kinect and being just plain genius, the trashcan scans for airborne trash thrown in its direction and races over to catch it before it hits the ground. With already over 2 million views in little over a week this inventor is definitely onto something. And some nice bonus free advertising for Frisk.
2. Adidas: David Beckham
How to turn a normal shopping day into a life time experience? It seems that Adidas found the secret formula for this. With the start of the 2012 London Olympics, Adidas brought shoppers face to face with global icon David Beckham. The video achieved more than 2 million views in 4 days . A formula that seems to work as we could see on the video co-created by Adidas and Ajax Amsterdam on Viral Friday last week . Adidas is on fire this month because also their latest commercial for Adizero went viral on the internet.
3. Nike: Find Your Greatness
This week Nike has launched the: “Find Your Greatness” campaign. The idea behind the campaign is that you don’t have to be an athlete to achieve greatness. It is no wonder that the strong inspirational video went viral with over 1 million views in just 2 days.
4. Evolution Of Dance by NAO Robot
It is not the question if robots will invade our household but when it will become mainstream. To create extra awareness for this, NAO robotics master TheAmazel has recreated the most popular dance viral ever. In the video we see a Robot do dance routines which made the Evolution of Dance video popular as well. The video was featured on popular sites like Buzzfeed and Mashable and reached over 600.000 views in 2 weeks.
5. New Lexus GS Hybrid – 120 Heartbeats
Hybrid cars have a very stuffy reputation. People still think a clean car doesn’t have any power and is nog fun to drive. Lexus took that challenge and put everyday people in their new hybrid car together with a professional racecar driver. Clean cars not exciting? Heart rates went through the rough and the racecar driver might be deaf by now. Just made it in the top5 this week with over 330k views and some heart pounding people.
