Are you ready to experience an extraordinary combination from the worlds of film and game? Nike will launch early next year the game “I AM PLAYR”, the first game to let you experience the life of a football player through his own eyes.
The game mixes up several genres such as the interactive gaming, social networking, video and first person story. The main idea of the game is for each user to build their own story, where they can create a character and compete to have the most successful football player in the world. You can take on the role of PLAYR and you lead your character.
What’s really fascinating about this game is that all decisions of the users will affect the course of their characters. Users will have to make decisions such as choosing agents, friends, nights out and girlfriends. Everything will count for shaping the characters. Making these choices can dramatically affect the way your game plays out. Choices have consequences, and those consequences feed in to all the other aspects of the game.
Though the story is played as an individual, there is also a large social gameplay element to PLAYR. Social gameplay is built around being able to share content to show other players how well you’re doing and working with other players to improve your stats and social standing.
While the game is not available, you can always dream way with the trailer, Facebook page and Twitter and wait until January for the real experience.
