Our 5th Anniversary: Meet The New ViralBlog
Today is the 5th anniversary of ViralBlog. Our modest party includes below OOH campaign, launched in our home town Amsterdam, powered by our friend from Kinetic. But we have also included a surprise for our very supportive audience.
With over 1.000.000 loyal readers in 2012, the new ViralBlog is designed to inspire the global marketing community, putting them in control.
Our readers can personalize ViralBlog and schedule e-mail notifications to get the most relevant answers to their specific questions.
The new design includes more special features and new categories that we’d like you to try. Soon we’ll also add a new category called start-up stories and other new categories that will include trends and disruptive innovations.
It has been a crazy ride, in which we have been predicting many viral hits, exploring ground-breaking ideas, and sharing stunning social marketing cases and trends with a global marketing minded audience.
We are happy with the #65 rank in the AdAge Power150 of best global marketing and media blogs and we are grateful for the many awards that we have received from like-minded peers.

If our new blog might seem like a mash-up of Pinterest and the new MySpace, we are happy to share our “rationale” with you. We wanted to refresh our old blog format into a glossy, digital opinion magazine, suited for both desktop and mobile devices.
The epic center of our blog is a “Zite-alike” engine that puts our readers in full control, and increases the relevancy for the several interest groups within the marketing community. It’s not our blog, it’s yours!
We created a new mission statement and a new editorial bible that supports and inspires our growing number of guest bloggers.
Our editors have a passion for disruptive powers, forces that can break through conventions. We are about trends, not just news.
We are sharing share our opinions: Our subjective beliefs that are a result of our knowledge, experience, emotions and our interpretations of facts.
