1. Nike: Fate
Nike, Wieden + Kennedy and David Fincher (Se7en, The Game, Fight Club) teamed up (as they did in 2003) and produced the above commercial. The ad tells the story of the life-long rivalry of American Football players LaDainian Tomlinson and Troy Polamalu as their destinies clash in an NFL football game. Over 210.000 people have seen the video since it was uploaded last Friday. The soundtrack of the ad is a remix of “L’estasi Dell’oro”, (The Ecstasy of Gold), by Ennio Morricone, written for The Good The Bad and the Ugly. (Source: AdFreak, welcome to optimism)

White Gold – “Do you love my hair?” is the latest single from White Gold & the Calcium Twins. As mentioned in week 15’s Viral Friday Goodby, Silverstein & Partners from San Francisco created this very ‘wrong’ rockband for California Milk Processor Board.
