Women Cup Balls For Cancer Research In Viral Video
You’ve probably heard of the video in which a couple of guys motorboat girls (with their consent) for breast cancer awareness. Now, a French company has switched the roles of the sexes in its viral video: women cupping guys’ balls for prostate cancer research.
So, what’s the story of this viral video?
As part of Movember month, Merci Handy, a French company that makes and sells handsanitizer, decided to let the girls be the ones grabbing this time.
They hired a few actresses, sent them out on the street, and let them ask random guys if they could cup their balls. Those guys would then make a 10 euro donation to prostate cancer research. Obviously, a commercial was made that documented it all.
Yes, this all happened.
For every pair of testicles cupped, 10 euros would go to benefit prostate cancer research.
In the end, about 500 euros ($700) was raised. This doesn’t seem much, but the video (which already has over a million views) makes for some funny entertainment.
The video is especially interesting, because it was produced by Julien Gaulet: the guy who created Boobstagram.com for breast cancer awareness month. A guy with his heart in the right place, and a fascination for private parts.
My Opinion
See, these kinds of ideas make me smile. It’s not just the guys who can think of something entertaining to do for charity. Us girls can be crazy too!
It’s a shame that the company didn’t make more money for the charity, but it sure was a solid effort. It would be great if this little campaign could become a recurring part of Movember. In multiple countries even!
Women would be contributing to Movember in a hilariously awesome way, without having to grow out hair 😉
What Do You Think?
Do you like this video? Do you think this should become a recurring Movember campaign?
