Social Wars: Facebook vs. Google In Stunning Infographic
We have seen tons of data visualized in many ways about the battle Facebook vs. Google. But the infographic Social Wars goes beyond eye candy.
Facebook has reached over 1 billion monthly active users and has become the most popular social network.
They’ve also become the most used mobile app in the U.S.
Google? A true cash machine. Its stock price recently hit $800. And YouTube? The second largest search engine in the world.
This eye candy infographic by Majestic Media might help you to pick the emperor of the social galaxy:
My Opinion?
Don’t be evil policy? Sure. Google.
Private or privacy space invaders? Sure. Facebook.
Sure is also that Larry, Mark and the rest of their San Francisco gang are striving for world domination.
One of our homepage covers (rotating in our header) even states: Google and Facebook are media-owners, masquerading as technology companies.
And they know what most of us fail to see: Consumer data is the new oil.
Who will win the social wars? Not so sure? My bet would be on Google. Very sure.
No doubt that this is the best infographic I have seen so far. Two thumbs up for the guys at Majestic Media. You’d probably want to hide your designer, before others beam him / her up.
